Squires Cafe

Up

Today dawned bright and sunny but a bit chilly. No probs. Filled up and met everyone. 11 bikes in all - a good turnout.

Off we go, up the A59. After about 10 miles, we start to get split up. No problems, I thought, someone will let us know when to turn off. No such luck. We (the last 3 bikes) lost the rest of them. Never, mind, we know where to go. So, we troll off to the cafe and wait for them. Got there about 10 mins before them which gave me time to get some snaps of the others arriving (see below).

By this time, it was getting warm. So, we lazed around for a couple of hours until it was time to go. Norma and I were last to set off and immediately lost the rest of them (again). Turns out they had all turned left out of the cafe and we turned right. Still, we all met up again in Holmfirth where we had an excellent drink and scone in Pennys Cafe.

Lazing around. You know it makes sense !
Later on, the stop at Penny's Cafe was much appreciated
On the final leg, I led the team across the moors to the A640. This is the stop at the top.
