Up

What a cracking day out.!!!

We all met up at the M61 services. For once our esteemed runs leader, Gary, was late. Of course, he had an excuse....

So 19 bikes set off and we poodled along for a while along some very nice B roads until we got to Devils Bridge. A brief stop in the sun watching the cops book all those who parked on double yellow lines - funny ! Then, off (with frequent petrol stops for Paul) past Windermere and along some nice roads over to Cockermouth. A tea stop at Sellafield cafe was factored in and then along the nice A6 down to to a pub near Garstang recommended by Malcolm.

No incidents, unless you count Gary's excursion off into some mud at the side of the road. One day, he will be able to corner...

Some pictures (once again, if anyone wants full size (8mp), just email me).

At the start (with Phil miles away trying to get all the bikes in)
Pulling in for petrol (and waiting !

Stopping at Sellafield (with the overflow)
Getting some tea (what bikers do best)
Malcolm and Paul did start to get very friendly - I think it's the radiation.
