Hawes

Our annual pancake run. Obviously the reputation is growing - we had 22 bikes to start with including 4 lady riders and 5 pillions.  A chilly start to the day but most enjoyable (as always).

We set off and headed over past Rivvy Barn up to Clitheroe. First stop for petrol got the tea break urge going so we ended up with an extra stop in Settle for an early lunch. Took over the cafe (as you would with 29 people clamouring for a drink) and had a leisurely stop.

Then, over the top to Hawes where we found the Wensleydale cheese factory and cafe. Ahh, time for another stop.... Then off back down the minor roads to Colne and home for pancakes. About 10 bikes made it all the way (the others had to go early). As ever, Norma did us proud - and this time Gary got to have some (last two years, he was called away).

This link points to an AVI file (video) of the bikes all zooming pas me. It is 45Mb so downloading it will take a while. Right click on the link can click 'Save as'.  Group Ride
