Ironbridge

At the same time (OK, a couple of hours later) as some of us were going to the Triumph party, the rest of the crowd decided to wander down to Ironbridge - led by fearless Phil of the North Wales branch (many thanks Phil).

Here are some photos with comments by Phil

Gathering in the carpark and enjoying the sun
Part of the Manchester Harley contingent, only one of whom had the decency to let on to us!!  The rest left before I took this shot, this is only around a third of their party, I presume they didn't bother rushing as they knew someone was bound to break down so they could catch up!!!  Tempted to follow them but we didn't want to embarrass them when we left them behind
Outside a pub, not sure where, might have to take a look at the map and try and figure it out, not far from Ironbridge though.  Great pub, has it's own Indian restaurant - barmaid was very helpful but we had to put the table and chairs out ourselves
couldn't get us all on one table at the cafe near Ironbridge!! Then Mick got the ice creams in - good man!!  Bob was enjoying the comfort gained from wearing shorts under his leathers, git!
The bridge itself, it wasn't until I walked over it then looked back a few yards further on that I realise this was it, I was expecting something bigger and was wondering why I couldn't see it!Mick decided to sit in the shade with the bikes and look after our gear.  He also talked a nearby brummie into becoming a biker, good man Mick!
The final refreshment stop at the Midway (have I remembered that correctly?) and shandies all round.  Bit noisy with the traffic and the occasional loud end can.  After this we trundled along the A41 for a little while and everyone started splitting off and heading home their own way.
