Up

A cloudy start to the day (Well, it is nearly winter) but we still had 7 bikes and 10 people turn up. So, off we go round the back roads and down to the Midlands. Gary only went wrong once before our first stop - so that's a record I think ! After cream cakes and drinks at a nice cafe, we shot off to find the motorcycle museum.  Note to Gary - when there is a sign showing the way (and it is about 200 yards to the end of the journey), this is NOT the time to divert down the A45 to Coventry.

However, the others eventually straggled in (clever me at the back saw the sign !) and after a spot of lunch, we had a very pleasant afternoon looking at British bikes old and new(ish). Then, off back via a posh hotel for afternoon drinkies and then home again.

All in all, another good MANHOC run. Some pictures for those who missed it !

At the start. The BMW was an interloper and didn't stay.
At the motocycle museum - we (Karen was my passenger) were the only ones who made it properly
And the others came in one by one

Gary had to be consoled by his angels
And then to lunch - no idea where the other Alan had got to though.
Followed by the obligatory fag stop
After the walk around the museum, Gary had to have a sit down and made a beeline for an angel (or two)
Most of the time, it was OK - but occasionally Gary needed solace to get over his wrong turns.
Until Karen got eaten by an umbrella - but she escaped
