We had another very successful Christmas do this year. The Trafford Hall
Hotel did us proud, giving us our own area, having an excellent layout and
cooking us a fine repast.
Several awards were given out:
Phil Jinks got the "Sore-Ass" award for the most miles covered on
our runs: 2110
Gary Fisher got the "Muppet of the Year" award for leaving his keys
in his bike lock all day
Malcolm Lunn won the "Chairmans Cup" for the one who contributed the
most to the club this year - he organised the Christmas dinner.
As always, we behaved in a decorum suitable to bikers everywhere as you can
see from the pictures below.
Waiting for dinner.
Food has arrived
and the fun and games starts
Red Card Ref - he's only allowed one !
Norma uses her scouting skills and sets light to the table.
Meanwhile Gary is making sure that everyone has a crash helmet label
- Brain is not too pleased with his.
Norma seems happy to receive Gary's cards - Pete and Phil become
best friends -and Gary gets a hug too.
Garys Angels get a special prize - I can't wait to see them wearing
them,
Then the dancing begins. Malc and Val show us how it should be
done and Gary and Jean go one better.
The rest of us just muddle along somehow
While the DJ's get a bit over excited
And some of us go outside for a smoke and to check their emails (sad
or what)
