The weather forecast gave no clues at all today - shame on you Beeb.... After a quick cuppa to get us all in the mood, we set off just as it was starting to drizzle. Ah well, no prbs, we have our waterproofs on. What we didn't know was that we would need wet suits, aqualungs and full diving gear. Yes, the heavens opened, the drains blocked up and the road near Oulton Park flooded. We now know that bikes are waterproof up to the exhausts and my boots are not !!!

Once past that, it started to clear up and by our first quick stop (quick? well, 45 minutes), we were drying out. By the time we got to Barmouth, the sun was shining and it was a balmy 22c. We soon found our favourite type of restaurant - fish and chips - and tucked in to a well earned nosh. Then, a walk along the sea front, the obligatory ice cream and a very pleasant ride home (the road from Betwys to Denbigh is highly recommended).

As ever, some pictures to brighten your day

At the start, people arriving and milling around. First is Peter, then Peter, then Mark (sorry about the colours of Marks bike - it is nicer than that)

Then the coffee. At this time, it was still nice so we sat outside.
At our first stop - we didn't so much as park as abandon ! No room for cars....
Our second stop. We tried to get lunch here but after finding out it would be about an hours wait and "we will find the tables for you sir", we decided to just have a quick drink and carry on. A small insect decided that Geoffs drink needed to be shared.
And so to Barmouth. Parking was easy - we just used the pavement!
Fish and chips - here we come !!!
Mark was getting broody so we made a baby carrier for him....
As you can see, the portions were generous and we all enjoyed it.

Then a walk and ice cream - Mark had to feed the baby !
Then the ride back. I zoomed off ahead to get some pictures as the sheep entered Denbigh.
