There are a few rules for qualifying for the sore-ass awards.
| You have to turn up and be ready to leave with the rest of the crew. If
you join us later, that doesn't count. |
| You must do the whole ride. No turning off for home early unless
everyone does it. |
| You must attend the awards ceremony at the end of the year to receive
your prize if you are a winner. If not, it goes to the second place and
so-on. |
| You must be on a motorcycle, a trike or a motorcycle and sidecar.
Turning up in a car (or any other 4 wheeled transport) doesn't count. |
How does it work?
Each mile done on the official runs (as published on this web site) gives you
one point, either as a pillion or as a rider. At the end of the year, all points
are added up and the winners shown.
If there is a draw, the following will apply.
| Anyone who has also been on an ad-hoc ride will have the number of miles
for the ad-hoc ride added to their score. |
| If this still gives a draw, then we will have joint winners. |
