Not the Black Country Museum

After a brief discussion the night before, because its £15 to get into the Black Country museum, we decided to go to Wroxeter instead, .

On the way, Alan went ahead a couple of times to get some moving photos. But when he went past the leader, (me), others thought it was an invitation to go too, so he had to slow down and get back with the group.

We managed to lose Mark Jones when he passed me before a turning and he didn't know that the destination had been changed and thus carried on to the Black Country museum.

As we headed towards Shrewsbury on the A53, Rob announced on the radio that two sports cars were amongst the group. As I watched out for them to pass, another message came over the radio. A police car had now joined the group. I could just make out the next message through the excitement and glee. The policeman had pulled the two sports cars and waved to the bikes to carry on. We can never accuse the Shropshire police of targeting bikers.

We got to the museum and had a look around. Then Alan got a phone call from Mark who was wondering where we were. Alan told him where we were and waited for him at Wroxeter. Then they both joined the rest of us in a pub for lunch.

On the way back we decided to head up the A49 and stopped at the Riverside pub near Weaverham for a drink, before going our separate ways.

Another great days riding with great company.
