Charity Ride-Out for Henshaws Society for Blind People
Sausage Run 2014 - Saturday 7th June 2014 - Cost: £10
It’s back! Henshaws Sausage Run returns for 2014 and you're invited to join the motorbike ride out on the trail of the famous Henshaws Sausage.
Setting off from Henshaws Manchester, in Old Trafford (click Here for a map) and travelling to the Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre in Knaresborough, you can join a mostly non-motorway route for a social and fun day out.
Registration for the event is £10 per rider, and all riders will receive a custom Henshaws ‘Sausage Run’ pin badge and date bar in addition to a Sausage Voucher to enable you to claim your Sausage Sandwich when you reach the Arts and Crafts Centre.
Registration will be from 8:00 – 8:45 and there will be tea and coffee available for participants. The ride out will then start at 9:00.
Whilst there is no minimum sponsorship amount for this event, Henshaws are encouraging all Sausage Runners to raise sponsorship to support the services that Henshaws provides.
Pillions may register for £10 to receive a pin badge and sausage voucher or alternatively register for free but buy their own sausage sandwich on arrival.

BikeSafe Courses
If you are looking to improve your riding skills, one of the options is to attend a BikeSafe course, which various Police Forces around the country are running. Unfortunately this doesn't include Greater Manchester Police, so the nearest place to be able to take the course is either Birkenhead on Merseyside, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, or Ripley, Derbyshire.
This year's dates for the course run by the three Forces mentioned are as follows;
Merseyside:
19/20 April, 10/11 May, 14/15 June, 2/3 August, 20/21 September, 4/5 October
Derbyshire:
30th March, 13th April, 18th May, 27th July, 7th September
West Yorkshire:
All available dates are booked up, but you can join a waiting list.
