On the 30th and 31st July members of the club went to a series of lectures held by Cheshire police to encourage road safety. Known as Bikesafe, it consisted of a slide show and a talk by Chris Bromley.

On the 3rd August 10 members went for their BikeSafe 2002 rides. This involves being followed by a police bike rider, on their marked bike, around the roads of Cheshire for about 2 hours. Excellent ride and I hope it encourages the rest of the club to do the same - I plan to organise this again next year.
